Tummy Tuck

Lipectomy

When diet and exercise are not enough to improve your figure, the solution lies in the procedure of the Tummy Tuck, Lipectomy or Abdominoplasty, in which the abdominal area is reconstructed, eliminating excess skin, fat and muscle tension, to give results aesthetic in waist and trunk shape.

The tummy tuck gives full satisfaction to our patients due to the benefits they experience in their figure:

  • A flat and aesthetic contour in the abdominal area.
  • Elimination of fat and excess skin.
  • A firmer and more tense abdomen.

It's performed to remove excess skin and fat accumulated in the lower abdomen, difficult to correct by diet and exercise. Also women who have had several pregnancies and, as a consequence, have sagging skin and the muscular wall of the abdomen.

Does the surgery leave visible scars? Where?

Yes. The scar is above the pelvis, from end to end, or slightly less. It's perfectly hidden under the panties, shorts, thong or bikini.

What are the recommended medications after surgery?

Medications are pain relievers and antibiotics.

What are the risks and possible complications?

Bleeding, infection, bruising, seroma, and in smokers, healing problems and blood circulation.

What does the total cost include?

Includes: fees of the surgeon and his surgical team; stay in hospital from 24 hours. Nursing service during the hospital stay and appointments to review after surgery with the surgeon.

Doesn't include: post-surgical girdles, pre-operative analysis and medications.
